8700 block Rosewood Avenue (Attempt)
03/28/2022 @ 1000. An unknown suspect smashed the rear glass door to gain entry but fled the area after hearing the homeowner inside the residence. #01792
Strong Arm Robbery
Hilldale Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
03/28/2022 @ 0050. The victim was standing on the corner when five men approached him and demanded his money. The victim said he had no money and was punched in the face. #01789
Armed Robbery
8800 block Ashcroft Avenue
03/28/2022 @ 1533. A man was walking on the sidewalk when two men approached him while armed with handguns and demanded his watch and wallet. The victim screamed for help and a struggle ensued, during which the victim was pistol whipped several times in the face by the suspects. The victim retained possession of his watch and wallet and the suspects fled the area in a vehicle. #01800

03/28/2022 @ 2045. A man was waiting at the bus stop when the suspect approached him while armed with a metal pipe and demanded his property and he complied. The suspect got onto a bus and fled the area. #01804

03/29/2022 @ 1300. A woman gained access to the lobby of the apartment building and used a screwdriver to pry open resident mailboxes and removed mail. #01808

Residential Burglary (Suspect Arrested)
1100 block Greenacre Avenue
03/30/2022 @ 0650-0750. A man used an unlocked rear sliding door to gain entry and removed a house key, sunglasses, and a book. The suspect was confronted by the resident and fled the area on foot. The suspect was located and arrested by responding deputies. #01826

8400 block Santa Monica Blvd
03/30/2022 @ 1250. A man met the suspect at the business to complete the sale of a watch that was set-up online via EBay. The suspect inspected the watch and then ran from the store. The victim chased after the suspect and a short struggle ensued, during which the suspect was able to maintain possession of the watch and break free from the victim. #01834

03/30/2022 @ 1245-0130. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a purse containing keys and credit cards from the trunk. #01836

04/01/2022 @ 1740. A man was driving WB on Sunset Blvd when the suspect jaywalked in front of him. While the suspect was crossing the street, he pointed a handgun and the victim and yelled incoherently. #01855
