Severe weather awareness week is underway with the state-wide tornado drills scheduled for Thursday April 7th. Outdoor warning sirens and NOAA weather radios will sound at both 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm in a simulated tornado warning. During these drills, families and businesses are encouraged to conduct their own mini preparedness drill and to talk about what to do in the event of a real emergency.
