On April 5th, 2022, two arrests were made in connection with a recent armed robbery in Culver City that occurred approximately two weeks earlier.
 
On March 24th, 2022, at 7:55 PM, Culver City Police Officers received a call for service of an armed robbery that occurred at the Overland Mini Mart, located at 4273 Overland Ave. 
 
After a thorough field investigation was conducted by patrol officers, Culver City Police Detectives received the case and began their follow-up efforts.  After collaborating with outside agencies, CCPD Investigators learned that the suspect had committed at least three additional armed robberies in Fontana and Montclair.  This collaboration also helped detectives identify the suspect and the getaway and the driver in the robbery.
 
On April 5^th, both suspects were arrested by an outside agency.  Both suspects have extensive criminal arrest histories.  Since these suspects are responsible for multiple crimes in different counties, this case will be presented to the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
