The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 1 PM to 8 PM MDT Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect Saturday, but does remain in effect Sunday.
* AREA AND TIMING...All Fire Weather Zones except the North Central Mountains Saturday afternoon and early evening and again Sunday afternoon and early evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...West to southwest increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mph on Saturday. West to southwest increasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 45 to 50 mph on Sunday.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Lowering to 4 to 7 percent Saturday and 6 to 12 percent Sunday. Up to 8 to 12 consecutive hours of single digit minimum relative humidities forecast Saturday and 4 to 8 hours Sunday.
* IMPACTS....Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
