Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Snow and wind expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches, except 10 to 16 inches over the mountains. 1 to 3 inches across the lowlands of Owyhee and Twin Falls County. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph Monday afternoon over Owyhee Mountains, Camas Prairie, and southwest Idaho Highlands, and up to 45 mph across the West Central and Boise Mountains.

* WHERE...West Central, Boise, Owyhee Mountains, the Camas Prairie, and the southwest Idaho highlands.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads, areas of blowing snow, and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... BOISE MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHWEST HIGHLANDS ... CAMAS PRAIRIE ... OWYHEE MOUNTAINS ... SOUTHERN TWIN FALLS COUNTY
