On April 10, 2022 (Sunday), at approximately 2:53am, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a person down on the west shoulder of Sierra Highway, just south of Rancho Vista Boulevard in the city of Palmdale.
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 10, 2022, a pedestrian was struck by a white BMW, which was driving southbound on Sierra Highway. The driver of the BMW fled the scene of the collision, and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
