OSBI INVESTIGATING AFTER MAN FOUND DEAD IN GARVIN COUNTY FIELD
GARVIN COUNTY, Oklahoma (April 11, 2022) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is assisting the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office with a homicide investigation after a man was found dead Sunday, April 10, 2022.
A driver passing through the area of Highway 77 and East 1620 Road around 3 p.m. reported seeing a person covered in blood and not moving in a field. Deputies responded and discovered a deceased man who was the victim of a homicide. At that time, deputies secured the scene and requested the OSBI.
The victim has not been positively identified, but based on evidence recovered at the scene agents believe he is from the Oklahoma City area. The case is being investigated as a homicide; cause of death is pending.
