The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 10 AM to 8 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...This includes the Middle Rio Grande Valley, Sandia, Manzano and Gallinas Mountains and the East Central Plains. Critical fire weather conditions are expected from mid morning through mid evening today and Wednesday.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest to west 30 to 45 mph with gusts between 50 and 65 mph today. West 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph Wednesday afternoon.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent today and 4 to 8 percent Wednesday.
* IMPACTS....Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ... SANDIA MANZANO AND GALLINAS MOUNTAINS ... EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
