Please see the following message in regards to the criminal event which occurred in the NYC Subway system this morning
In light of the events in the NYC Subway system this morning, and in cooperation with New York State Counterterrorism Zone 3, the Harrison Police Department will be conducting high visibility patrols of the train station and any mass transit facility in the Town.
No threats have been received in Westchester County at this time, but all residents are asked to remain vigilant- and to report any suspicious activity.
Additionally….The New York City Unified Victim Identification System (UVIS) has been activated in response to the NYPD activity located near 36th Street and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn. If you are concerned about the welfare of someone who may have been affected by the event and are unable to contact them, please call 311. From outside of NYC, you may call (212)639-9675.
