Weakley County Courthouse will be open as tornado shelter Wednesday 4/13/2022 4:30pm through 11:00pm 
Due to an increased threat of tornadoes and severe weather forecast by the NOAA Storm Prediction Center, the Weakley County courthouse will be open as a tornado shelter tomorrow, Wednesday 13th, from 4:30pm until 11:00pm. Weakley County Emergency Management personnel will be on site to sign people in when they get there.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a chair, and any medication or medical equipment they'll need throughout the duration of the storm.
The bottom (basement) floor will be the sheltering area, so please come to the side doors of the courthouse if possible.

If sheltering is required, the Weakley County courthouse will be available tomorrow, Wednesday 4/13/2022 from 4:30pm through 11:00pm
