On 4/13/22 at 10:17 AM the Sheboygan Fire Department and the Sheboygan Police responded to the 1800 Block of N 21st Street for a report of a woman who needed medical care. It was learned that there had been a disturbance between two family members which resulted in a 51 year old Sheboygan woman being transported to a local hospital for treatment for several lacerations to her back and head. A 22 year old male, who resides with the woman, was also transported to the hospital for treatment for lacerations to his neck and a puncture wound to his chest which were self inflicted. He was eventually taken to Froedert Hospital due to the seriousness of his injuries. The man initially left the home but was located by officers in the area within minutes of the call. A knife was involved in the disturbance and it has been recovered. The situation remains under investigation and criminal charges are expected for the male when he recovers and is cleared to leave the hospital.
