1:44 AM: Officer Herrera responded to an alarm activation in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Upon arrival, Officer Herrera discovered a business that had been burglarized. Incident is still being investigated.
1:50 AM: While conducting security checks, Officer Quinonez discovered a cold burglary in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Case is under investigation.
2:04 AM: Officer Kapu located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the area of Brenton St and Cedar Blvd.
1:03 PM: Officers investigated a cold burglary that occurred in the 5000 block of Newpark Mall Rd that had occurred overnight. Case is being investigated by Officer Cervantes.
5:23 PM: Officer Kapu investigated a report of vandalism in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave. Officers were able to identify and locate the subject, a 27-year-old male out of Fremont, nearby. The subject was ultimately arrested for theft and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:20 PM: Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 41-year-old male out of Fremont for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.
9:49 PM: Officer Herrera investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Loss was a wallet.
10:12 PM: Officer Swadener investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Loss is unknown at this time.

10:46 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a battery that occurred in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. The involved subjects fled prior to Officer arrival.
3:40 PM: Officer Frentescu made contact and arrested a 24-year-old female out of Livingston in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd for an outstanding warrant. She was issued a new court date and released.
3:36 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a theft that occurred in the 37000 block of Spruce St overnight. Loss was a vape battery and documents.

12:42 AM: Officer Herrera investigated a burglary that occurred in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave.
1:05 AM: Officer Herrera investigated an attempted burglary that occurred in the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave.
1:25 AM: While conducting a security check in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave, Officers observed suspicious activity described as a subject in the alley between two businesses. When the officer attempted to make contact, the subject fled. After a brief foot pursuit, the subject was taken into custody without further incident. The subject, a 26-year-old male was ultimately arrested for possession of burglary tools, prowling, possession of multiple controlled substances and resisting arrest. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:49 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated the tampering of a vehicle in the 37000 block of Magnolia St.
7:58 AM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 35000 block of Scarborough Dr that occurred overnight. On 3/16/22 the vehicle was recovered out of Hayward.
9:30 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 49-year-old male in the 4000 block of Derby Drive for drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was cited and released.   
9:51 AM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a cold burglary in the 6000 block of Mirabeau Drive.
1:52 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Loss was merchandise.
2:01 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 39000 block of Parada Street. No loss reported.
4:56 PM: Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 63-year-old male in the 6000 block of Mirabeau Drive for trespassing. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

10:52 PM: Officers responded to a vehicle collision in the area of Mowry Ave and I-880. One of the involved vehicles fled prior to Officer arrival. The subject, 28-year-old male out of Aptos,  was located nearby. He was ultimately arrested for DUI and hit & run.

12:24 AM: Officer Losier made contact and arrested a 21-year old male out of Chowchilla for being too inebriated to care for himself or others in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:30 AM: Officer Garcia responded to assist with an arson investigation in the 2000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
7:11 AM: Officer Hunter investigated a burglary that occurred in the 36000 block of Newark Blvd.
10:54 AM: Officer Hernandez investigated a burglary that occurred on the 6000 block of Jarvis Ave.
11:26 AM: Officer McCuin investigated a burglary attempt in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd.

8:48 PM: Officer Garcia investigated a burglary to an auto that had just occurred in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Loss was a purse.
9:02 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated the theft of a catalytic converter in the 1000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. The theft occurred between 1500 hours and 2100 hours.

3:01 AM: Officer Quinonez responded to an in-progress burglary to a vehicle in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave involving four subjects. Officer Swadener arrived on scene within one minute of the call. One of the subjects fled on foot upon officer arrival. Officer Swadener made contact with a 22-year old male out of Newark and a 25-year old female subject. The interior of the victim vehicle appeared to be rummaged through but no loss was determined. The subjects were released.
5:22 AM: Officer Herrera responded to an alarm activation in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Officer Kapu arrived in the area and observed a vehicle driving from behind the building. The vehicle attempted to evade Officer Kapu, but ended up driving to a dead end. Before coming to a stop, the driver discarded a cash drawer. A high-risk stop was conducted, and officers took a 36-year old male out of San Jose, into custody. The subject was ultimately arrested for burglary, destroying evidence, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, and an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
5:51 AM: Officers investigated a report of a stolen vehicle in the 6000 block of Graham Ave. The vehicle was later located in San Francisco.
9:20 AM: Officer Arroyo investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 36000 block of Salisbury Dr. Loss is unknown at this time.
11:08 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a report of shoplifting that occurred in the 5000 block of Jarvis Ave.
2:51 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a report of shoplifting in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave.
5:14 PM: Officer Riddles investigated a theft of a catalytic converter in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
7:33 PM: Officer Quinonez investigated the theft of a motor vehicle in the 36000 block of Blackwood Dr.
9:57 PM: Officer Kapu was dispatched to investigate a report of a hit & run collision that occurred in the area of Carter Ave and Sycamore St. Officer Kapu followed a fluid trail to the intersection of Wells Ave and Walnut St where he located the involved vehicle, still occupied by the driver, a 62-year old male out of Newark. The subject was ultimately arrested for DUI.

2:08 AM: Officer Quinonez was dispatched to investigate a report of a vehicle collision in the 600 block of Bennington Dr. The vehicle fled prior to officer arrival. Officers located a vehicle with major front-end damage nearby. A high-risk stop was conducted and a 33-year old male out of Tracy was taken into custody. The subject was ultimately arrested for DUI and hit & run. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
4:09 AM: Officer Swadener and Officer Kapu were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Arden St and Plummer Ave. Upon arrival, Officers observed two subjects attempting to steal a catalytic converter. The two subjects jumped into a vehicle and fled from Officers. Officer Riddles located the vehicle as it fled eastbound on Thornton Ave and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield and was last seen driving at a high rate of speed northbound Newark Blvd. No pursuit was initiated.
8:53 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated multiple thefts of catalytic converters that occurred overnight throughout the central and south area of town.
5:58 PM: Officer Adami made contact and arrested a 33-year old female in the 35000 block of Dumbarton Ct for an outstanding warrant. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:55 PM: Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 5000 block of Newpark Pl. Officers located a 43-year old male subject, 28- year old male subject and a 35-year old female subject loading items into a vehicle. A high-risk stop was conducted and the subjects were detained. The 43-year old male subject was arrested for carrying a concealed dagger, prohibited persons in possession of ammunition and possession of burglary tools. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail. The other subjects were released on scene.

1:25 AM: Officer Riddles made contact with a 40-year old male in the area of Cedar Blvd and Birch St. She was ultimately arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of burglary tools and probation violation. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
2:59 AM: While responding to an unrelated call, a vehicle almost collided with Officer Kapu in the area of Sea Wind Way and Willow St. Officer Kapu subsequently initiated a traffic enforcement stop and made contact with a 45-year old male out of Castro Valley. He was arrested for possession of burglary tools, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

6:56 PM: Officer Cervantes and Officer Adami investigated an interrupted auto burglary in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.
11:14 PM: Officer Norvell and Officer Sanchez investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 39000 block of Balentine Dr. Officer Sanchez arrested a 39-year old male for trespassing. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

10:05 AM: Officers made contact and arrested a 40-year old male for an outstanding felony warrant, possession of drug paraphernalia and a felon in possession of a stun gun. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail. He also made contact and arrested a 33-year old female for an outstanding warrant. She was cited and released.
3:37 PM: Officers responded to a report of a battery in progress in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. Officer McCuin made contact and arrested a 23-year old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:47 AM: Officers responded to a report of a possible in-progress auto burglary in the 6000 block of Thornton Ave. The subjects fled the scene prior to officer arrival. While investigating, Officer McCuin made contact and arrested a 54-year old male for carrying a concealed dagger. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:51 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a theft of a motor vehicle in the 36000 block of Salisbury Dr.

11:11 AM: Officer Soto investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 6000 block of Rockrose Dr. There is no loss reported at this time.
2:49 PM: Officer McCuin investigated the theft of tires in the 7000 block of Gateway Blvd.
3:40 PM: Officers responded to a report of a subject refusing to leave in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Officers made contact and arrested a 58-year old male for an outstanding warrant and disobeying a court order. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
7:08 PM: Officer Garica investigated the theft of a license plate in the 35000 block of Dumbarton Ct.
8:45 PM: Officer Herrera made contact and arrested a 45-year old female out of Redding for being too inebriated to care for herself or others in the 6000 block of Thornton Ave. She was boked at Santa Rita Jail.

4:31 AM: Officer Kapu investigated a theft of a vehicle in the 6000 block of Cedar Blvd. On 4/1/22 the vehicle was recovered in Union City.
9:48 PM: Officer Kapu responded to a report of a collision in the area of Stevenson Blvd and Cherry St. Officer Kapu arrived on scene and located a disabled vehicle with major front-end damage. In addition, the driver was nowhere to be found. While checking the area, Officer Herrera located the registered owner, a 20-year old male out of Newark, nearby. The subject was arrested for DUI and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:35 AM:  Officer Riddles made contact with a 40-year old male out of Hayward and a 30-year old female out of Union City in the area of Seawind Way and SkySail St. Officer Riddles arrested both subjects for possession of multiple controlled substances, unlawful possession of tear gas by a felon, possession of burglary tools and appropriating lost property respectively. They were both booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:18 AM: Officer Pacheco investigated a theft of a catalytic converter that occurred in the 8000 block of Thornton Ave over the weekend.
11:25 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a burglary that occurred in the 36000 block of Cherry St. Loss was appliances and cash.
3:55 PM: Officer Arroyo investigated a theft of a catalytic converter that occurred in the 5000 block of Mowry School Rd overnight.

4:49 PM: Officer Cervantes investigated a burglary that occurred in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Loss was clothing and a cell phone.
8:07 PM: Officer Adami investigated three auto burglaries in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Loss was two backpacks and a laptop.

12:06 AM: Officer Riddles observed suspicious activity described as a male subject concealing himself on the backside of a building. Officer Riddles made contact with the subject but he refused to identify himself. The property owner was contacted and requested prosecution. The subject was booked at Santa Rita Jail, identified, and ultimately arrested for obstructing a peace officer, possession of burglary tools, obtaining money by false pretenses, and disorderly conduct described as loitering on private property.
2:08 AM: Officers Sanchez and Adami responded to a report of suspicious activity described as a subject attempting to open car doors in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 32-year old female and a 52-year old male out of San Jose. The male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, cited and released.
