Flood Advisory until 11:45PM Wednesday

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana and Kentucky, including the following counties, in south central Indiana, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Perry and Washington. In Kentucky, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Jefferson, Meade and Oldham.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT /1045 PM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 846 PM EDT /746 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Elizabethtown, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Shepherdsville, Lyndon and Middletown. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
