On April 11, 2022, the Madera County Sheriff’s Office along with officers from the California Highway Patrol were dispatched a stolen vehicle recovery in the 25000 Block of Adelle Street in Madera Ca. While on scene, officers located an additional tractor, and two forklifts all reported stolen out of Kern County in the Lamont area.
On April 12, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Rural Crimes Investigation Unit responded to Madera along with the California Highway Patrol’s Central Division Investigative Services Unit. While on scene two additional tractors reported stolen from local farmers in the Lamont area, along with an unrelated stolen skid-steer were located.
Detectives served a search warrant on an adjacent property in the area and an additional fuel trailer reported stolen out of Kern County was located and recovered. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is still on-going.
