Discovery of Fentanyl Leads to Home being Red Tagged for Contamination and Two Arrested for Child Endangerment

INCIDENT: Possession for Sale of Narcotics/Child Endangerment
LOCATION: 12100 block of 13th Street, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Robert Coffman, 26-year-old Yucaipa resident
Carina Taylor, 25-year-old Yucaipa resident
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Deputies D. Brandt and M. Izquierdo initiated a traffic stop in the area of 13th St. and Yucaipa Blvd. Robert Coffman and Carina Taylor were both occupants of the vehicle.
Deputies later served a search warrant at their residence in the 12100 block of 13th Street. and approximately 1.5 ounces of fentanyl and evidence of narcotic sales were seized. The narcotics carry a street value of approximately $4,200. Sheriff’s Narcotics Division investigators and a Hazmat team from San Bernardino County Fire responded to the residence to collect the narcotics and the residence was red tagged for fentanyl contamination.
Coffman and Taylor were both arrested for PC273(a); Child Endangerment and Coffman was also arrested for HS11351; Possession for Sale of Narcotics. They were both booked into Central Detention Center.
