Advisory

Storm Debris

Lauderdale EMA has completed the Dammage Assessment for the tornado that went through the southern part of the county. Now we will be working on the debris that was left behind. If you live in the area that was affected by the storm and have trees that you need help cutting, please let us know. We are working with a couple volunteer agencies to bring in chainsaw crews. These crews will only be here for a short time and will be focusing on helping those that are not able to cut them themselves. East Ms HUB will be in charge of routing the needs to the proper agency. Lauderdale County is working on a plan to get all the debris picked up as quick as possible. This process will still take a little time to complete. All limbs cannot be longer than 4 feet. All tree debris must be on the right-of-way, but NOT in the road.
To sign up for help, go to www.LEMAONLINE.com and click "report damage" and fill out ALL the information.
