* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi and northeast Mississippi, including the following counties, in North Mississippi, Lafayette and Marshall. In northeast Mississippi, Union.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 219 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oxford, New Albany, Cambridge, Etta, Pinedale, Harmontown, New Harmony, Keownville, Abbeville, Burt, Keel, Cornersville, Poolville, Old Myrtle, College Hill Station, Bald Hill, Smalco, Martintown, College Hill and Shari. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
