The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Tuesday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.
* AREA AND TIMING...East Central Plains (except Curry and Roosevelt Counties) this afternoon until 9 PM this evening. All of the East Central Plains Wednesday from mid morning until mid evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...For Tuesday, 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. For Wednesday, 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...For Tuesday, 10 to 15 percent. For Wednesday, 5 to 7 percent. Widespread poor humidity recovery Tuesday night (except in Curry and Roosevelt Counties).
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended..
* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
