Full Notification

A storm system currently in the Mid-Atlantic will strengthen over the next 12 hours as it treks north towards the area. This will result in a soaking rainfall tonight with widespread amounts of 1 - 1.5" (localized 2"+ possible). Poor drainage/roadway flooding will become a concern along with some streams and creeks as most of the rain falls in about a 6 hour window. Also, coastal flooding may become a concern around Midnight as tides will be running 2-3 feet above normal. It will become rather windy as well and gusts can reach 45 mph. This can lend to some downed limbs and perhaps even a few power outages
