* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northern New Jersey...including the following counties...Hunterdon and Somerset.
* WHEN...Until 615 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 112 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain continuing to fall across the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall up to 0.5 inches is possible. - For Neshanic at Reaville: At 1:00am the stage was 5.83 feet. Instructions:
Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
