4/13/22 - 8:09 p.m. - Police received an Illinois State Police broadcast of a possible intoxicated driver westbound on Route 158 headed towards Millstadt. The Millstadt Officer observed the vehicle come into his lane of traffic, and conducted a traffic stop in the first block of East Washington Street. Upon conducting an investigation the driver of the vehicle, John M. Shalenko age 69 of Millstadt, was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Improper Lane Usage.
