The Sheriffs Office is hiring for all Sworn and non-Sworn positions. 

Have you always wanted to be a Sheriff’s Deputy?

Do you have experience working in a judicial court room and would like to be assigned to courts?

Do you have experience with Internal Affairs & would like to work Background, Recruiting, and Investigations?

Are you retired and would like to work part-time up to 25 hours a week?

Do you have an interest in being a Sheriff’s Correctional Officer?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions "WE WANT YOU".

The Sheriff’s Office will be giving “Non”-Post Certified applicants the opportunity to attend Georgia’s Police Academy to become a Post-Certified Deputy Sheriff.
 
Please join us Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to complete the entire first phase of the two-phase hiring process.
 
Those attending will complete some or all of the following: Physical Agility Test, Orientation, Application, Background Booklet, and Oral interview.
 
The entire process typically can be completed within three hours. It is suggested you bring water and a snack. Part of this event will occur outside. Please bring a change of athletic gear for your agility test.
 
It is recommended prior to coming to the Sheriff’s Office to submit an email to our Background/Recruiter Deputy Fraser at

with your desired position.

If you need a later time in the evening or a weekend appointment, specify this request in your email.
