Seconds after I sent the previous Nixle regarding the high school, Lt Bowen informed me that the BFD are looking for 2 CERT volunteers to assist in blocking McAllister Rd on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00am until 4:00pm for a controlled burn. You will be stationed on either end of the road and may sit in your car on and off throughout your shift. Upon arrival, you should report to Captain Selleck. Again, if you are able to assist please notify Paul of the time slot you can be there.
We have complained that there have been too few activations for our team for some time. Now we have two activations. Please consider assisting.
