Full Notification

Today SVPD was notified that an unknown number of Ventura County residents received a scam telephone call from a subject claiming to be an Officer with the Simi Valley Police Department. This scammer advised victims that there was an urgent legal matter pending and that they need to call a provided telephone number. Please know this is a fraudulent call and not involving any of our Officers or our department. Detectives are attempting to follow up on the calls so if you have any additional information please contact the Simi Valley Police Department Detective Bureau.
