#LASD #SVB SAFE Team Arrest, Seeking Additional Victims #WestHollywood #LA
On March 16, 2022, Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station investigated a Suspected Child Abuse Report (SCAR) and contacted a 13 year-old female victim.
The victim told deputies in October and November of 2021 she was contacted on “Snapchat” by the suspect who offered to provide her alcohol and narcotics in exchange for explicit pictures and videos of the victim.
The investigation was assumed by the Special Victims Bureau, Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Team along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Through a joint investigation, investigators were able to identify the suspect as Miles Alexander, MB/12-08-79, a resident of Pasadena.
On April 15, 2022, the suspect was ultimately arrested and booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station. The suspect is believed to have been a high school basketball coach for several schools in the San Gabriel Valley and a high school basketball referee in the Los Angeles area.
