The theme for Earth Day 2022 is "INVEST IN OUR PLANET", focusing on the effects of climate change on the planet that we all share and what efforts are being made in the real world to mitigate it.
Please be advised that on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 8am to 2pm at City Hall Square, we will be having the following events related to Earth Day for our Wilmer residents:
- Tree Giveaway: Live Oak, Mexican White Oak, Eastern Red Cedar, and Shantung Maple (until supplies last);
- Wipe-Out-Waste (Bulk and Brush); and
- Litter Pick-up Program (designated areas)
SIGN-UP TO CLEANUP:
If you would like to volunteer for
Mayor's Litter Pick-Up Program, please arrive at the Community Center at 8am and invest in our community. We will be scouring designated areas for discarded plastics, cans, trash, and bottles for a cleanup project that will help our entire community.
