On April 22, 2022 at 6:19 PM, Simi Valley PD Officers were dispatched to an unknown injury traffic collision at Madera Road and Country Club in Simi Valley.  Multiple Reporting Parties advised dispatch that a vehicle had been driving out of control in the area and had struck several vehicles, which were stopped at the red light. While enroute, dispatch advised Officers that the driver of the initial disturbing vehicle had exited and was fleeing on foot. Upon arrival Officer's made contact with the driver Ryan Snyder, 36, from Thousand Oaks, who immediately resisted arrest. Snyder was ultimately taken into custody without incident. 
 
There were minor/moderate injuries to the occupants of the other involved vehicles and Snyder was ultimately booked at Ventura County Jail for Felony DUI, Felony Hit & Run, and charges related to previous DUI convictions.
