* At 831 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles southwest of Lawton, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include... Lawton, Elgin, Fletcher, Sterling, eastern Fort Sill and Central High. This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 33 and 62.
