* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following county, Wright.

* WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen over the Wolf Creek, Baker Creek, Whetstone, and the upper Gasconade River basins. - This includes the following low water crossings... Gasconade River at Highway E, Woods Fork Gasconade River at Rippee Ford Road, Whetstone Creek at Owens Road, Baker Creek at Baker Creek Road and Wolf Creek at Highway AB. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mansfield, Norwood and Hartville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
