National DEA Drug Take Back Day this Saturday--Oxford PD drive-thru drop off event. **time of the event is now included

EDIT: We failed to include the time of the event. It is this Saturday from 10 AM - 2 PM. Thanks!
Dispose of unwanted, expired, unused medications this Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the TRI Community Center, 6025 Fairfield Rd. This is a drive-thru drop off, so you never have to leave your car.
We accept inhalers, liquids, syringes, pills, cremes---this includes both prescription and over-the-counter meds. We dispose of them in an environmentally friendly manner, since flushing meds is bad for the water system/environment and keeping unwanted meds around the house poses a risk of someone getting them that shouldn't have them. We collect them, lock them down, and then give them to the DEA to destroy.
Take a look in those medicine cabinets and pull out what you don't need--we'll see you this Saturday at the TRI.
