Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports, on 4/26/22 at 1001 hrs. his office responded to a personal injury crash, on Sister Lakes Road, Near Haley Rd., in Silver Creek Township, Cass County Michigan.  51-year-old Dowagiac resident, Garrett Marquart, was southbound on Sister Lakes Rd. When his vehicle left the roadway and overturned ejecting Mr. Marquart from the vehicle.  Mr. Marquart was transported to Lakeland Hospital in St Joseph Michigan for treatment of injuries.  Mr. Marquart was not wearing his safety belt and drugs and/or alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.  This case remains under investigation.
Assisting were Sister Lakes Fire Department, Pokagon Tribal Police Department, and Pride Care Ambulance service.
