Traffic Enforcement Details Week of May 1st Through May 7th, 2022; Paving Projects Scheduled - New Road and Route 522:
In an effort to address recurring traffic safety concerns within the Township, the South Brunswick Police Department will be conducting the following directed traffic enforcement details during the week of May 1st Through May 7th, 2022:
West Side:
Finnegan’s Lane- Speeding
East Side:
Route 32/Route 535- Improper turns
These traffic enforcement details will be conducted in addition to our Department's routine traffic enforcement efforts.
New Road Paving Project
New Road will be closed to through traffic for paving on Monday May 2 and Tuesday May 3, between Route 522 and Ridge Road, from 6:30am to 3:30 pm.
Monday will be from Ridge Road to Hillside Avenue, Tuesday from Hillside Avenue to the Freedom Trail.
Local residents will have access; please follow the posted detour and the direction of traffic controllers.
County Milling and Paving Project Scheduled – Route 522
Middlesex County will be conducting milling and paving of Route 522 from Route 130 to Summerfield Boulevard. Milling was expected to begin on April 27th and paving expected to begin on May 2nd, with lane striping on May 5th. Work is scheduled to take place from 7:30am to 3:30pm. All dates are subject to weather.
