INCIDENT: Unlawfully Causing a Fire
LOCATION: Redlands Boulevard and Coloma Street, Loma Linda
SUSPECT(S): Ronald Evans, 63-year-old Transient
VICTIM(S): City of Loma Linda
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at approximately 11:12 a.m., deputies responded to a fire near the corner of Redlands Boulevard and Coloma Street in the city of Loma Linda. Deputies arrived on scene and observed a fire that engulfed a one acre field of dry brush. Through investigation, deputies developed suspect leads and Ronald Evans, a 63-year-old transient, was located and arrested during an area check. Total approximate damage was $25,000.
