On Saturday, April 24, 2022 at 9:22 AM, the National City Police Department was made aware of a vehicle pursuit involving the San Diego Police Department. The pursuit concluded in National City in the 1700 block of National City Boulevard. As the San Diego Police Officer was taking a combative female suspect into custody, a National City Police Officer arrived to assist. The suspect was eventually handcuffed and taken into custody.
