Ho-Ho-Kus Litter Clean-Up & Shade Tree Dedication
It is not too late to sign up for the 2nd annual Ho-Ho-Kus Litter Clean-Up, tomorrow, Friday, April 29th. There are open spots available starting at 3:15 PM. Please join the effort to keep our public grounds and waterways litter free. You may sign-up on the Contemporary Club website. Your help, no matter how long you stay, is welcomed, and appreciated!

At 5 PM, the Borough Shade Tree Commission is planting a tree in memory of Franklin J. Grieder who passed away April 16, 2021. Frank was a long-time resident of Ho-Ho-Kus and a valued borough volunteer having served as Chairman of the Shade Tree Commission for many years. He was a Life Member of the Ho-Ho-Kus Fire Department and served as Chief from 1968-69. Members of the Mayor and Council, the Shade Tree Commission and the Fire Department will be present to honor Frank.
In celebration of National Arbor Day, Ho-Ho-Kus Brownie Troop 98001 will hand out 500 seedlings as part of the Community Tree Recovery Campaign.
