Fort Bend County Important Broadband Study Survey for ALL RESIDENTS 
Last night at the Mayor and Council Association dinner, important information was given to attending cities regarding the Fort Bend County Broadband Initiative Study that is currently slated to close out May 27th.
They need ALL FORT BEND COUNTY RESIDENTS to help! It only takes a few minutes!
Please see the links below to take the SURVEY and SPEED TEST! It is vital to the county being awarded grants to bring broadband trunklines to SIMONTON!!!
As a part of the Broadband Improvement Initiative currently being developed for Fort Bend County, CobbFendley, who has been contracted by the County to complete the feasibility study, is conducting a Public Survey and Speed Test for residents to participate in. Public feedback is a critical part of understanding the broadband needs in the community, and as a stakeholder in the community, the County would like your support in spreading the word throughout your community channels.
A landing page is set up on the County’s website that introduces the Initiative, provides additional links about discounted programs, and includes a Survey and Speed Test for the study. The survey and speed test provide a lot of very valuable information in the report, and we would like your help if at all possible in getting this information sent out to as many people as we can within the County.
The deadline for response to the survey is Friday, May 27th
Ways you can share this information include:
• shortcut link on school or public Library computers
• a post on a community specific Facebook group
• an email blast
• Nextdoor app
• Flyers in the mail
Or however you best communicate with your community members.
