McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Caleb Baliles charged 38-year-old Crystal Marie Irons of Black Mountain with Felonious Possession of Methamphetamine. She was given a $10,000 unsecured bond.
On April 25th, Deputy Baliles checked a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Catawba River Mini Storage in Old Fort. Deputy Baliles determined Irons was lying about why she was in the parking lot, and further investigation determined she had outstanding warrants. A search of her vehicle turned up methamphetamine.
