A Traffic Stop on an ATV Results in the Arrest of the Rider for Possession of Stolen Property

LOCATION: Intersection of Del Rey Drive / Papago Trail, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Charles Taylor, 44-year-old resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: : On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at approximately 4:05 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station conducted a traffic stop on an ATV at the intersection of Del Rey Drive and Papago Trail. A records check on the rider, Charles Taylor, revealed a misdemeanor warrant for PC240 Assault, with a $25,000 bail. A check of the vehicles idenification number indicated it was reported stolen from Santa Ana, CA.
As a result of the investigation, Charles Taylor was arrested for PC496(d)-Possession of Stolen Property. Taylor was booked into the Colorado River Station jail where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
