Flood Watch until 07:00AM Tuesday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Cherokee. Portions of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barry, Christian, Douglas, Greene, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Stone, Taney, Webster and Wright.

* WHEN...From 10 AM CDT this morning through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to overspread the watch area this morning and into tonight. Widespread 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected through Tuesday morning. Training or repeated rounds of thunderstorms with high rainfall rates could lead to isolated pockets of greater than 3 inches. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
