Please avoid the State Street bridge (IL Rt. 56) over the Fox River until 5pm today. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has it shut down to one lane while they do concrete repair. This is between Rt. 31 and Rt. 25. Expect significant delays!
Alternate river crossings in the area are Wilson St. in Batavia, Sullivan Rd, and Indian Trail in Aurora.
