Just a reminder that the City of Aurora and Village of North Aurora jointly hold Severe Weather Siren testing at 10am on the first Tuesday of each month when the temperature is above freezing. 

These sirens are meant to warn people who are outside in the event of severe weather and may not wake you inside your home.  We recommend that you have other warning methods that will wake you, such as a Severe Weather Radio or smartphone app.  The key is that it must be able to wake you in the event of a tornado or other very severe weather.
