OSBI INVESTIGATING SUSPICIOUS DEATH OF A NEW MEXICO MAN 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHITA COUNTY, Oklahoma (May 4, 2022) – Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) agents are investigating the suspicious death of a New Mexico man.
The Washita County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance after a body was discovered in a vacant home near Dill City on April 29, 2022. On May 3, 2022, the deceased man was identified as Patrick Mitchell Jacob Woods, 30, of Roswell, New Mexico. Woods’ family said he was known to hitchhike between Roswell and Norman, Oklahoma. He was last seen in Norman near the end of March.
