INCIDENT: Possession of Assault Rifle, Brandishing Assault Rifle
LOCATION: 11700 block of Cedar Avenue, Bloomington
SUSPECT(S): Eriberto Robles, 33-years-old, Resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 28, 2022, at approximately 4:34 p.m., Deputy Rodriguez from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded to a call for service involving an argument between two subjects at the Green Acres Mortuary in Bloomington. A witness at the cemetery told Rodriguez a subject, later identified as Eriberto Robles, brandished an assault rifle at one of the subjects involved in the argument, in front of multiple bystanders.
Rodriguez formulated a tactical plan to protect the public and detained Robles withouit incident. Rodriguez located an unsecured, loaded assault rifle in Robles' vehicle.
Robles was transported to the Central Detention Center and booked for brandishing and possession of an assault rifle.
