The eastbound Highway 24 connector to northbound I-680 is closed due to police activity. Other areas are also closed, including Mt. Diablo Blvd/Boulevard Way/Camino Diablo in Walnut Creek. Avoid the areas around the 24/680 interchange.
Traffic in the area is very heavy and motorists should use alternate routes. There is no estimated time for reopening.
