On May 4, 2022, at approximately 4:00pm, Vigo County Deputies responded to 7100 Block of Fayette Road, West Terre Haute reference a shooting. Once Deputies arrived, two gunshot victims were found in the area. Both male subjects were transported to Union Hospital for further treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time. Criminal Investigations was called to the scene. Deputies/Detectives later located the suspect inside a nearby residence. He was then transported to the Sheriff’s Office for further investigation by Detectives. The suspect was later arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery and Criminal Recklessness. The suspect is identified as 67 year old Donald Kennedy of West Terre Haute. The investigation is ongoing at this time. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Indiana State Police, West Terre Haute Police Department, Transcare, and New Goshen Fire and Rescue.
