* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, Taney and Wright.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Some low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1156 AM CDT, Gauge reports indicate flooding is ongoing. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area with many state roads closed due to flooding. - This includes the following low water crossings... Lick Creek at County Road 528, Pond Fork at County Road 883, Little North Fork River at County Road 916, Beaver Creek at County Road 524 and Beaver Creek at Crewes Ford Road. - Some locations or areas that will experience flooding include... Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
