The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing this photo in hopes the community can identify this vehicle of interest in connection to a homicide.
On May 1st, 2022, just after 3:00 am, officers responded to the 1200 block of Lakeshore Avenue on reports of a stabbing. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they died.
A vehicle of interest was seen on surveillance video at the time of the homicide. The vehicle is described as a Honda Civic, gray in color, with a sunroof and paint fading on the roof.
Crime Stoppers of Oakland is offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
