* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, Taney and Wright.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 846 PM CDT, Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen over the last 24 hours. - This includes the following low water crossings... Lick Creek at County Road 528, Pond Fork at County Road 883, Little North Fork River at County Road 916, Beaver Creek at County Road 524 and Beaver Creek at Crewes Ford Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
