Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that struck a pedestrian in Mastic Beach last month before fleeing the scene.
The pedestrian was walking eastbound on Neighborhood Road, near Flower Road, in Mastic Beach when he was struck by a dark-colored SUV traveling eastbound on Neighborhood Road on April 21 at 8 p.m. The vehicle then fled southbound onto Flower Road. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
