HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED
On March 6, at approximately 11:39 a.m., Morgan Hill police officers responded to 16873 Monterey Road #303 to conduct a welfare check on an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 24-year-old female in a rear bedroom. Responding officers scanned the bedroom and located several items, which led them to believe the female victim may have died under suspicious circumstances. The Santa Clara County Coroner's Office responded to the scene and initiated a separate investigation into the victim's manner and cause of death.
Over the course of the criminal investigation, a wide array of evidence was collected and analyzed. Jordan Eric Lowe (31) from San Jose was ultimately identified as a suspect in this case. Detectives received an Arrest Warrant for Lowe and took him into custody without incident on May 5, 2022, in San Jose.
Lowe was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on a charge of P.C. 187(a) – Murder.
Due to the sensitive nature of this case, the Morgan Hill Police Department will not be releasing any additional information at this time.
